I’ve been enjoying reading Tyler Cowen’s blog, marginal revolution, lately. He’s super smart, and he writes about everything—philosophy, econ, history, religion, popular culture, food, and way more. He has links to fantastic blogs and articles. Check out a good recent link: “Do French Kids Snack?”. On my to-read list is his An Economist Gets Lunch: New Rules for Everyday Foodies. From the reviews I’ve read, it contains some very provocative and enlightening thoughts on the current state of American food—how we got here and where we’re headed. Different from the stuff you’ll see in, say, Bittman or Pollan.
